Where's John these days? Is he still with the band? Be such a shame if he has left. Iv'e seen the band numerous occassions recently and he's not been there.
I hope all is well with him!!
Best Wishes to all,
I was wondering too. Big fan of his guitar playing.
Due to ill health John Slaughter is not touring with the band at present. We all wish him a speedy recovery and are looking forward to hearing his fantastic blues guitar sounds once again.

Please forward best wishes to John.
My best wishes to John, my favourite guitarist bar none. Saw his Blues Band many times at the 100 club(twice with Chris guesting on trombone), also in Oxford and the Black Bottom Club on Northampton and the Stables at Wavendon.
The band would not be the same without him.
Whatever happened to the Black Bottom Club? I wonder if it was the same gig? In any event the one I went to was great . . . as were the gigs at The Stables particularly when John totted up the number of times he'd played "Goin' up the River" Well past 3500 as I recall!
Come on John . . we need you chum!
Absolutely agree with you guys! John's a wonderful player and a smashing gentleman too! I do hope all's well with him.
Get well soon, take care,
oodles of affection!
