| #1 | Leaving aside the fact that this message board has been very dull of late . . . what's happened out there folks . . . I have a question for Mr John "Quick - fingers":
(better than "Slow-hand don't you think?) Slaughter:
So what's the likelihood of you getting a blues band back together and doing a few stints? No . . . you're not too old, you're in your prime! I so enjoyed the various occasions when I saw the band in Northampton and the Stables and elsewhere.
Come on . . . another bash please!

| #2 | Well Peter it's not totally out of the question,we are still good chums and talk about a gig somewhere one day. Bit of a problem is my health, I am not as fit as I used to be,and I also enjoy spending a lot more time with my wife, but it's defiantly maybe!!!!!
Cheers John |

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply John. Wives definitely need time spent with them . . . never more so than at our ages! Alongside my very best wishes for your health and a quick replacement on the next broken string goes my insistence that you let me know if you do all get back together! In the meantime . . . I keep playing the CDs.
I think we'll soon be seeing at least one member of your band when we go to see Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings . . . Mr Nick Payn . . . known to my wife and I as the "egg man"!
Best wishes John
