Dear All members of the band,
Just wanted to thank you all for a fabulous evenings entertainment at the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury 14/09/09 - how good it was to listen to a bunch of blokes who know their music & instruments inside out and play fit to bust with exuberance and sheer enjoyment. It's a palpable thing because you really love being up there playing and your audience feels it too. I was especially pleased to see Vic Pitt playing with you as I've never forgotten seeing him & the drummer play the double bass at the same time - shame the drummer retired too as I might have seen it again one more time at least. Vic Pitt is a fine player and good luck to him. Your new reeds man, Zoltan Sagi is a great find - always look forward to Petit Fleur but his playing of the solos was magical - such a clean & pure sound - I really want to resist the cliches of warm honey or melted dark chocolate but I struggle to convey it otherwise. Brilliant. The medical student on guitar, more solos until he qualifies please - what a talent. But then you are all brilliant, and I'm not excluding anyone from that it's just that Mr Sagi is new and I hadn't heard so much from the med student before. The talent on stage is just phenomenal. Thank you so much and if you come our way again, I'll be there!
Thanks to all and good luck,
Helen Watkins

I agree Chris and I travelled form the Wirral (150 miles) to see you all at the "Roses" I do not believe Vic has retired as last when we saw the band in Buxton he was also there, sorry he did not come out to see us afterwards. What a surprise to see Bob Hunt back and boy did he enjoy himself. Petite Fleur was great by Zolton but the three clairettes sent shivers up you ,just listened to it again on the Blenheim CD.

Thanks again all of you and we look forward to the next time
